Geographical Investigation

Ms. Sheridan’s 6th Year Geography students undertook their Geographical Investigation this week in the beautiful Lord’s Wood in Baltinglass. The Geographical Investigation is a crucial part of the Leaving Certificate Geography Curriculum. Accompanied by Branch Out Outdoors, the students carried out a number of investigations to calculate and analyse river velocity, bedload, sinuosity and gradient. A great day was had by all.
