The Scoil Chonglais Ethos Ambassadors for the 2024 – 2025 academic year are:

Our Ethos Ambassadors have a key role in supporting our school values. They are actively involved in organising and helping with school activities, events and initiatives that support our values including Ethos Week, Wellbeing activities, fundraisers, Open Day/Evening and the Amber Flag committee among many others.

Student Council

The Student Council in Scoil Chonglais is a representative structure through which elected students can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students. The student council work as a line of communication between school decision makers and students. The council is made up of elected representatives from each year group.

The Student Council has the following functions:

  • To represent the views of the student body in the school
  • To promote good communications within the school
  • To support the educational development and progress of students
  • To contribute to the development of school policy
  • To assist in school sporting and cultural activities
  • To assist with and organise fund-raising events for charity

The main purpose of the student council is to promote the interests and the involvement of students in the daily running of the school and decisions which affect them.
