Today TY students took part in a photoshoot to showcase their Junk Kouture projects, marking the culmination of weeks of creativity, collaboration, and hard work. Each design reflects the students’ commitment to sustainability, innovation, and original thinking, with everyday discarded materials transformed into striking, high-fashion pieces.
The photoshoot was an exciting opportunity for students to see their ideas come to life and to present their garments in a professional and creative setting. From the initial concept and design stages to construction and final styling, a huge amount of effort has gone into every entry.
Junk Kouture continues to be an inspiring initiative, encouraging young people to think critically about fast fashion, waste, and environmental responsibility, while also developing skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and creative expression. The TY students should be extremely proud of their achievements and the standard of work produced.
