Senior Prefects

At Scoil Chonglais, we are proud of the leadership shown by our students. Each year, our Head Boy, Head Girl, and Senior Prefect Team play an important role in representing the student body, supporting school life, and promoting the values at the heart of our community.

This year, our Head Girl, Emily Canavan and Head Boy, Dylan Byrne, lead by example through their commitment, responsibility, and enthusiasm. Dylan and Emily represent the student voice at official school functions, welcome guests to the school, and act as role models for younger students. They work closely with staff to encourage a positive school atmosphere and ensure that the student perspective is always heard and respected.

Supporting them is the Senior Prefect Team, a group of dedicated students chosen for their leadership qualities and commitment to Scoil Chonglais. The team assists with school events, demonstrates a positive example to younger students, and helps to uphold the standards of respect, kindness, and responsibility across the school. Prefects also play a key role in organising and promoting student-led initiatives, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

Together, Dylan, Emily, and the Senior Prefect Team embody the values of leadership and integrity. Their contribution enriches the life of the school and ensures that the voices of students remain central to the life of Scoil Chonglais.
