Our 1st and 2nd year girls basketball teams got off to a winning start in their Midlands League campaign last Monday. Playing CPC Kilcullen, the 1st Years dominated from the 1st quarter going 10 to 2 up after the first break. This determination was consistent throughout with the SC girls winning on a score line of 39 19.
The 2nd Years had the same task ahead of them, with a much stronger CPC team at this age group. It was score for score throughout the match, with our girls ending strong with a score line of 29-24.
Exceptional performances all round for the SC teams, the girls showed their determination and resilience from the tip off.
