Senior cycle Home Economics students took part in an investigation about a local food business today. We were delighted to have John Gittens come speak to the students to about his egg production business. Students got many insights into running your own business, quality control, market research as well as the process involved in egg production. He also spoke on the procedures around HAACP and showed students the paperwork involved in this part of the business. He also distributed leaflets with various recipes.
