A new rotation of our TY Home Economics students have started their time in Tearmann Community Garden.
The group got straight to work, sowing sunflower seeds and preparing the glasshouse ground for planting. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and teamwork as they learned hands-on gardening skills in a real community setting.
A sincere thank you to the wonderful volunteers in the community garden for sharing their expertise and demonstrating such valuable skills to our students. Opportunities like this make learning meaningful, practical and inspiring.
We’re looking forward to seeing those sunflowers bloom!
