A big thank you to Sarah Rubalcava, Environmental Awareness Officer with Wicklow County Council, who visited Scoil Chonglais this week to meet Keelynn, Emma & Aimee and learn about their Stripe Young Scientist project, Biodegradable Fruit Stickers
The girls explored compostable alternatives to single-use plastic packaging and created bioplastics, edible glue and nettle-fibre food nets.
They recently won the REPAK Award and placed 3rd in the Senior Group Chemistry, Physics & Maths category at the RDS — an amazing achievement!
