Our Senior Hurlers played an outstanding game of hurling today in what was a thrilling encounter against Kildare Community School. On a glorious day for a glorious match, both teams gave it their all from start to finish.
At half time, Scoil Chonglais trailed by 1-11 to 1-07 after a fiercely contested opening half. Despite being behind, the lads showed incredible determination, teamwork, and skill to turn the game around in the second half.
Led by a strong defensive display and some superb scoring up front, Scoil Chonglais found their rhythm, hitting the back of the net several times to take control of the game. Their hard work, spirit, and never give up attitude paid off as they finished strongly to secure a well-deserved victory on a scoreline of 5-12 to 2-14.
