LCA students welcomed Guest Speaker Anne McGuire Cardiothoracic Advanced Nursing Practitioner from St James hospital on Thursday 6th November. Speaking about coronary heart disease and its causes, risk factors and methods of primary prevention she went to give students information booklets which they will incorporate into their First Task: An investigation into Heart Disease. The LCA students asked excellent questions and will now build this information into their projects.
