We are very proud of the 12 TY students who gave up their free time over the midterm break and embraced the volunteering element of their Transition Year experience to help with the organisation and facilitation of the Baltinglass Tidy Towns Halloween Event in The Lords Wood. Sincere thanks to Joan Murtagh who was our point of contact throughout the experience from start to finish. We were delighted to hear from Joan that all our TY bunch were brilliant throughout punctual, polite, helpful, and interacted so nicely with the kids on the day. This is the second year that TY students from Scoil Chonglais have been involved in this event, and we envisage that this will be an annual tradition between our school and Baltinglass Tidy Towns moving forward. The TY volunteers were treated to some well-deserved goodies by Ms Dixon today to say thank you and well done again.
